Drip is an instillation and film piece exploring the use of showers and baths in horror films through the medium of found footage and stop-motion animation. The piece stemmed from an investigation into the large number of showers and baths in horror films, particularly using female subjects. The piece developed further to investigate soap and the pressure of cleanliness on women, and unrealistic expectations for women in the mainstream media.
